H+H is without doubt one of the finest shops in Toronto. I have lived in Toronto my entire life and have done my best to support small businesses. I first met Sonya a few years back when her gorgeous shop was in the Junction and have followed her to Queen west where she is located now. Her shop quickly became one of my favourite shops for personal needs but more so for gifts that are beautiful, thoughtful, quality, practical. unique and delicious and all under the roof of a shop so full of wonderful energy much with attention to detail and style, some whimsy all that truly is a reflection of the shops gracious, knowledgeable and sincere shop owner, the lovely Sonya. It is a joy to go in and find something special for a gift and difficult to leave without picking up a little something for yourself, after all, you deserve it! You will leave the shop feeling good, win win win! During these days of global pandemic Sonya has provided no contact delivery which has been so very appreciated as it is difficult for most to get out of course. Witchy (yes, sorcery!), fun bags, fun aromatherapies, calm, with a whole wall for great jewellery - simple minimalist pieces and fun little brass hedgehog heads, leaves, you know what I mean. Nice skincare products and balms but I stick to my own routine and will not try anything any more because my skin is finally gotten to a good spot and I don't want to ruin it. Lots of plants, succulents.. love the vibe.

If there is someone in your who loves all natural sorcery, beautiful plant hangers and they need the perfect gift, look no further than Helen + Hildegard. I'm incredibly grateful they're in my 'hood. The women running this store could not be sweeter. They're super kind to me, even when I bring my daughter with me, who has to touch everything at least twice. Every. Thing. I popped in yesterday to escape the gold and left with their house-made essential oils, a little tea set and about a million things added my wish list, to return for later.

Enjoyed shopping for special gifts. The best was spending an evening with Sonia learning to create our own blends and skin care. What a gem!

I organized a private soap making class for a group of friends on Saturday. What a great and funky place to bring people for a few hours of "crafting". We had a ball, and Claire, our "teacher", was so knowledgable and accommodating. We'll definitely come again. This place is a gem in the Junction!
